Founded in 1950 in Atlantic City, Arthur Ponzio Co. has built a distinguished reputation as the oldest established land surveying, professional planning, and civil engineering firm on Absecon Island. Originally established as Arthur W. Ponzio Co. & Associates, Inc. (AWP), the firm began operations at 216 South New Hampshire Avenue in Atlantic City’s historic Inlet section. The company relocated to its present headquarters at 11 South Iowa Avenue, and remains in Atlantic City. Continuing its long-standing tradition of professional excellence and modernization, the organization formally transitioned into a new entity in 2022 under the name Arthur Ponzio Co.

For more than seven decades, the firm has delivered comprehensive multidisciplinary services in civil engineering, land surveying, professional planning, permitting, and land development consulting. Since its incorporation in 1979, Arthur Ponzio Co. has successfully completed more than 40,000 projects throughout southern New Jersey and the surrounding region. The firm’s portfolio encompasses a diverse range of work, from individual boundary and title surveys to large-scale casino developments, commercial and residential site developments, marina and dredging projects, shorefront protection initiatives, environmental permitting applications, transportation improvements, and complex subdivision developments.
